Toddler Transition Policy

Dear Parents,

As your toddler grows, they will naturally transition into a new stage of development that requires a different environment to meet their emotional and developmental needs. This next phase is the Early Childhood (Primary) level, and the transition typically occurs between the ages of 2.5 and 3 years.

To help you understand and familiarize yourself with this next stage, we highly recommend that parents observe a primary classroom. When your child is ready to transition, their toddler teacher will alert you to the changes taking place. Both the toddler and primary teachers will keep you informed throughout the transition process, which usually takes about two weeks to complete.

Upon completion of the transition, parents and teachers will connect for a farewell and welcoming meeting. At this time, we will discuss your child's emerging needs, requirements for the new early childhood level, classroom schedule adjustments, and tuition changes.

We look forward to partnering with you during this exciting milestone in your child's development.
